How to link to proteins in ProteomeHD
This website contains covariation data for thousands of proteins. Each protein has its own dashboard page with a permanent URL.
Linking to individual proteins
Use the following URL structure to link directly to a specific protein’s dashboard:
https://proteomehd2-test.netlify.app/dashboard_proteinID
Replace proteinID with the UniProt ID of the protein of interest. These IDs must be isoform-specific: For proteins where we detect specific isoform(s) in ProteomeHD, the proteinID must match the specific isoform we detect. For example, the PHF20L1 gene has two dashboards, one for the canonical sequence (proteinID = A8MW92) and for an isoform (proteinID = A8MW92-2). You can download an index of all proteins, isoforms and IDs covered by this website in our data section.
Linking to protein pairs
For linking to protein-protein associations or interactions, use our specialised landing page with this URL format:
https://proteomehd2-test.netlify.app/protein_pair_landing.html?&id_1=protein_1&id_2=protein_2
Replace protein_1 and protein_2 with the UniProt IDs of your proteins of interest, e.g. Q9BXW9 - Q02878.
Important limitations:
Use canonical IDs (not isoform-specific IDs) to link to protein pairs. For example, use A8MW92 rather than A8MW92-2. The landing page will automatically present links to all relevant isoform dashboards if we detect specific isoforms for either protein.
This will only work for protein pairs that we have found to be associated with one another. You can find a complete list of these protein associations in our data section.
